Why I Wrote This Book?
Historically my student population has mostly been Black & Latino. After seeing the positive response from my Black students after reading What Would The World Be Without Black People? I felt Like my Latino students also deserved a book that heavily highlighted the contributions of people from their community too. Since I am not Latino I partnered with Araceli Leon, a Latina Educator to write this book.
